The Fund Accountant role involves the preparation of financial statements and other monthly support tasks. The successful candidate will have an interest in interfacing with clients (by phone and/or video) and in providing extraordinary client experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Support annual budgeting process
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CPA certification
- Experience in partnership and/or fund accounting (2-5 years)
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Superior proficiency with MS Excel and QuickBooks Online
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task while handling daily client needs
- Interest in delivering superior client service
